I need start this blog telling you about what mean is the music for me.
The music is not a hobbie, is not a passion. The music is a way to scape from this world, I listen music in the bus, subway, street, everwhere but always when I do not want listen to the people.
Now, what is my favourite song, I do not have, I have approximately 1.100 songs in my cellphone and I cannot choose one, it is impossible for me. Even if a chose one, this fav song change everyday because my humour change too.
Having said that, I have a favourite genre because I grew up listen Rap and a Culture of Hip Hop. 1000 of my 1100 songs are Rap and with my friends we love this genre because we feel represented, our story is in the street, in our neighborhood. I met a lot singer that I listen, I know their stories of their lifes and that make me very close to them.
To add, it is incredible how we can learn with this genre. Now, with a teacher in Cerillos we are creating a proyect to include a unit of Freestyle in classroom. Obviously is very close to Debate haha. The project name RapDebate and we can include information and make a conscious freestyle and change lifes with the music and education.

I do not usually listen to much rap or hiphop, but I like 2Pac :)
ResponderEliminarWow, I dind't know that you had such a deep conception of rap and hip-hop Faus o:! And also, didn't know that you have a teacher of my "district" Cerrillos! It's really interesting the way of how you see the music. I also use to listening music when I want to enjoy my daily trips from my home to the university and viceversa.
